First, this release includes the seamless integration of the
Dashboard Platform with the Data Integration Platform. In Dashboard, users can
now access their workflows in the Data Integration Server with the new server
explorer and publish data-source details to their dashboards.
The Dashboard
Platform release also provides support for dynamic parameters. Using the
dashboard viewer, users can create and dynamically change query parameters, use
them in expressions, or map them for user-based filters.
Dynamic parameters.
Other new features for Dashboard that users will enjoy are:
· Advanced sorting options for the Dashboard
Designer.
· A common ODBC connection (ANSI SQL).
· A waterfall chart widget.
· A widget for radar and polar charts.
User-friendly design, collapsed and expanded.
The September release gives the Data Integration
Platform support for monitoring tasks, allowing disk and JVM memory to be
monitored, as well as a new, user-friendly design for processors, process
groups, and ports. Views can now be expanded or collapsed at the user’s
convenience. Configuration files can also now be viewed or modified by
restarting an application.
Current users can update their enterprise platforms through their Direct-Trac accounts. Have you tried out these new features? What do you think? Let us know in the comments or on Facebook or Twitter.
